Colostrum is the pre-milk fluid produced from the mother's mammary glands during the first 36 hours after birth. It is not milk; it is the whole 'functional' food for the newborn. Each drop contains the promise of life: immunoglobulins, growth factors, antibodies, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and other substances designed to help the body face a lifetime of invasion by various viruses, bacteria, allergens and toxins.
The majority of the antibodies and
immunoglobulins present in colostrum are not absorbed, but
remain in the gastro intestinal tract (GI tract) where they
attack pathogens before they have a chance to penetrate the

Research has shown that colostrum may
be effective for a variety of conditions including, but not

immune deficiencies, anti-aging, yeast infections, bacterial
and viral infections, oral care, weight control, digestive
